Working at NAI Elliott: Teamwork, mutual trust and mentored growth

Teamwork, trust and mentorship are among our key values. One of our Assistant Real Estate Manager’s Jolene Edwards, shares how a supportive work atmosphere has allowed her to grow and advance in her career path.

Jolene is part of the largest real estate management team in the company, consisting of two building engineers, two Assistant Real Estate Managers and a Real Estate Manager. She tackles tenant communication, vendor coordination, as well as scheduling and assisting the engineers. On the administrative side, Jolene makes sure that all relevant documents are filed and in order. The day-to-day duties of an AREM are always changing and Jolene enjoys that she’s never bored. There’s always something new to learn, something unexpected happening or new situations where Jolene can continue to grow her skillset.

When Jolene first joined NAI Elliott as an administrative coordinator, she was mentored by one of our Real Estate Managers, Julie Fuhrman, who was very willing to teach her new skills. That mentorship and education continued when she moved onto Rawley Winstead’s team. Jolene credits the company culture that NAI Elliott co-founder Lou Elliott and President Jordan Elliott promote which allows for people to advance in their careers.
