Vision & values: Trust is everything

‘When we succeed, it’s trust that makes it possible.’ Our vision and values guide our day-to-day actions as a company. One of the principle values that guide our actions is ‘trust is everything.’ NAI Elliott CEO Lou Elliott shares how this idea is at the core of our company. Starting with our staff’s trust in leadership and each other and emanating out to our clients, tenants and vendors. All of those relationships are based on trusting that we’re reliable, honest and transparent.

As NAI Elliott has grown, one of the key questions our leadership has asked is, how do we continue a small company’s culture into a much larger company? Developing our company manifesto is one of the ways we have been able to share our beliefs and principles as we’ve grown. Trust is Everything is at the core of this manifesto.

 Internally, we focus on staff members not only trusting each other but trusting our leadership as well. This is paramount because we rely on internal collaboration to make things work. Working from that foundation, it spreads to our relationships with clients, tenants and vendors which have a basis of trust at their core.
